PROJECT -BE SAFE ONLINE
Mobile devices and the internet have become a common, entangled part of the lives of today’s youngsters and it’s important to teach them about privacy, computer security, and social media safety at an early age. Keeping this in mind, we organized a month-long activity which helped the students understand the importance of being alert and updated while doing various tasks online. Not only India, students explored the concept of ‘Digital Citizenship’ of other countries like France, Algeria and U.S.A. Students of IT club members of class IX made comic strips to understand the rules of being online safe and secure and presented their research work in the online class very confidently. Other students of class IX expressed their knowledge of Digital Citizenshipthrough colorful digital footprints and worksheets on real life scenarios. The students of class XI did some research work on E-Safety rules of India, Israel, Algeria, and France. They also created a list of Digital Etiquettes along with Infographics based on their research work and represented them on a Bar graph.This activity empowered our students with the necessary knowledge and skills they need to stay safe online.
